What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, otherwise known as a News Feed and is an easy way to stay up-to-date with the latest news published on our website. RSS eliminates the need to continually visit a website for updates.
Using RSS, our Latest News bulletin can be delivered direct to you as soon as it is published.
How Do I Use RSS?
To use RSS you will need a News Reader. Many eMail client's will already have this functionallity within them, which will allow you to subscribe to the RSS feed from your chosen websites. Your RSS feeds will flow directly into your News Reader, making the information you need available in one central and convenient location. When reading your RSS feeds, you always have the option of clicking through to the original website.
How do I Subscribe to the RSS Feed?
Inside your reader you will see a button that says ‘subscribe,’ ‘add feed’ or something similar and there will be a box for you to input a URL. Many News Readers will allow you to simply enter the main URL of the website. However, certain News Readers will ask for the URL of the website’s RSS feed.
Our RSS Feed URL is : http://www.atobviaconline.com/Public/RSSFeed.xml
Copy and paste this URL into your News Reader.
Once you have entered the URL into your News Reader you are subscribed to that website’s RSS feed and you will begin to receive updates immediately.
Some News Reader software will allow you to click over the RSS button and drag and drop this onto your News Reader and will automatically configure the feed. For example, Microsoft Outlook 2007 will let you drop the link onto the default RSS Feeds folder and conveniently set it up.
Alternatively, a number of internet browers (for example Microsoft IE7 or FireFox 2) will display an introductory header on the page when you click on the RSS Feed link explaining that you are viewing a News Feed and give you the option of subscribing to it.
