All of our Distance Table products are 'powered' by a Distance Table 'Engine', this engine in now available to Developers via a discrete WSDL compliant Web Service.

The number of distances that can be calculated by a user is not limited, however, we reserve the right to impose a limit if usage becomes excessive.

The WebService does not include the scalable map of the world used in the PC products or on the web, it does however include the ability to plot routes on bitmaps various sizes.

Access to the service to obtain distance and route information is controlled by a login system, however, access to the Port data is freely available to all.  Our express permission is required to make the port information publicly available but this permission will not be unreasonably withheld.

The WebService is available by annual subscription and will be available in three different levels of functionality:-

1. A service that simply returns the Distance and a short textual description of the route used.
2. As level 1 plus the mapping abilities.
3. As level 2 but including the ability to access the waypoints for each route.
